Bridging Borders

January – March 2013

Download PDF Version

2013 starts out full of promise and support for Clinical Legal Education (CLE) and collaborative Pro Bono Initiatives. We have collected reflections and articles from some of the many activities BABSEA CLE has been involved in since January 1 and put them together with our upcoming events to produce our first official e-newsletter. As always, we do some much it is some difficult to know where to start. Our editors suggested points of interest include the highlights from our 4th Trio for Justice Run/Walk Awareness Raising Event; Bruce Lasky’s article on Strengthening Myanmar’s Justice Sector; White & Case Pro Bono Lawyers Legal Writing Training in Laos; Bebs Chorak’s Reflection on Street Law in Vietnam and Bridging Borders in the Qatar as well as the reflections on trainings, events and being a part of our global team. We’d like once again to thank all our supporters, partners, volunteers & interns, staff & friends, without your help, none of this would be possible. We hope you enjoy and welcome feedback on our new format (e-newsletter) and our work.
