Paisal Tanjili

Dean, College of Law Notre Dame of Marbel University

Paisal D. Tanjili is a legal professional and academic with experience in law practice, legal education, and public service. He is the Dean of the College of Law at Notre Dame of Marbel University and as Region XII Vice-President of the Federation of Mindanao Law School Deans. He has been a law professor since 2007 for constitutional law and human rights, administrative, election and public officers’ law.

Tanjili held various leadership roles, including Chairperson of the People’s Law Enforcement Board in Tacurong City and the Board of Trustees of the Notre Dame of Marbel University, a local government administrator, and as one of the accredited external counsels for Metropolitan Bank. His legal practice spans consultancy, litigation, and governance advisory. Previously, he served as a Commission on Elections Election Supervisor, Department of Justice Public Attorney, Trial Attorney for the Department of Agrarian Reform, and legal officer of the DAR Adjudication Board.

With an LL.M, he pursues a Doctor of Juridical Science at San Beda University. He has received specialized training, including the Law of the Sea and human rights investigations. A cum laude graduate in Philosophy, he is also active in professional organizations, including the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
