Dr. Devinder Singh is a Professor and Former Chairperson at the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh. His prowess as an academician and author is exceptional as visible from his noted work on Article 370, Protection of Human Rights, Women’s and Children’s Rights, Administrative Law, and Constitutional Law. He is a man of preserving attitude who believes in instituting a change in the realm of legal education with his actions and academic contributions. He has authored, edited and revised more than 10 books of National and International repute and has more than 60 papers publications in journals and books. He has delivered more than 100 lectures, key note addresses in national and international seminars, webinars, conclave and conferences. His expertise in legal issues and administration has been the reason that he has also served as the Legal Counsel of Panjab University, Chandigarh from 2011. Further his scope of academic reach is not only limited to Panjab University and he has been actively engaged and supportive in the instrumentalities of other educational institutions too in various capacities. He is also member of various esteemed organisations such Institute of Public Administration, Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies and Global Alliance of Justice Education.
