April Advincula

Law Student Practitioner, College of Law Notre Dame of Marbel University

April C. Advincula is a third-year law student at Notre Dame of Marbel University-College of Law, balancing rigorous academic studies with hands-on legal practice as a law student practitioner. As part of her clinical legal education, she actively engages in real-world legal work, advocating for underserved communities and gaining practical experience in litigation, legal research, and client representation.

Her involvement in Project Freedom and Decongestion, a clinical legal education program of NDMU-College of Law, has deepened her understanding of the justice system, particularly in addressing legal decongestion efforts. Through this initiative, she assists in providing legal aid, drafting pleadings, and participating in advocacy efforts aimed at improving access to justice.

In addition to her legal studies, April is a law enforcer and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), equipping her with a unique analytical approach to legal issues, particularly in financial law, taxation, and regulatory compliance. Her dual expertise allows her to bridge the gap between law enforcement, finance, and legal practice.

Committed to lifelong learning and public service, she aspires to use her growing legal expertise to drive meaningful reforms, ensuring justice and accountability within the legal system.
