Run or Walk for Justice and Make a Difference! On January 13th, 2013, BABSEACLE will host the 4th Trio for Justice Fun Run/Walk for social justice!
Trio for Justice is an awareness and fund-raising event consisting of a half-marathon, a 10K and a 5K run/walk to raise money and support for BABSEACLE and its partners’ access to justice projects in the Southeast Asia region.
BABSEACLE began the ‘Trio for Justice’ in order to raise money to implement and support university-based Clinical Legal Education (CLE) programs. These programs address such issues as migrant worker rights, the rights of people living with HIV, prisoners’ rights, juvenile justice, discrimination, the rights of stateless persons, access to health care, and the rights of transgendered people and sex workers.
The 4th Trio for Justice will be held on January 13, 2013, at Huey Tueng Tao Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand. With over 150 participants last year, we look forward to seeing many more athletes and volunteers ready to run and walk to raise money for a good cause!
