Pragati Thakur is a dedicated law student and researcher pursuing B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) at the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh (2020-2025). With a strong academic record and extensive internship experience in the Supreme Court, High Courts, and legal institutions, she has developed expertise in constitutional law, consumer law, and labor rights.
Pragati has interned with Supreme Court and High Court judges, Advocates General, and senior legal practitioners, gaining hands-on experience in legal research, case briefing, public interest litigation, and policy analysis. Her work with the District Legal Services Authority reflects her commitment to pro bono legal aid and social justice advocacy.
She has presented research papers on topics like judicial efficiency, gender justice, AI in governance, and labor rights at national and international conferences, with publications in reputed legal journals. Actively involved in moot court competitions, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and judgment writing, she has won national trial advocacy contests and served as President of the ADR Board at UILS.
