Angelisa Razo

Angelisa L. Razo, Ll.M. is a seasoned lawyer with 20 years of experience in public interest litigation, legal research, and legal education. A graduate of Ateneo de Davao University College of Law (JD, 2004) and San Beda University (LL.M., 2021), she has dedicated her career to advocacy, litigation, and legal education. She specializes in environmental law, agrarian reform, labor rights, and gender justice, successfully securing landmark decisions, including a Supreme Court victory for farmworkers in Ramos et al. v. NCIP (2020).
As a law professor, she teaches at various institutions, including Ateneo de Davao University, St. Mary’s College of Law, and Notre Dame of Marbel University, focusing on clinical legal education, gender laws, and human rights. She has also served as an Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) lecturer for lawyers, delivering in-depth sessions on Indigenous Peoples’ Rights and environmental law.
Beyond academia, she actively engages in community lawyering, providing legal aid through NGOs and cooperatives. She is a member of the Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG) and holds leadership roles in Rotary International and Wimler Foundation. Passionate about social justice, she continues to bridge the gap between legal education and community advocacy.
