Session Description
Collaborative partnerships between universities, law firms, and NGOs play a necessary role in institutionalizing Clinical Legal Education (CLE) and equipping students with practical legal skills. This session will explore a range of CLE training workshops co-hosted by BABSEACLE and three global law firm partners – White & Case, DLA Piper, and Herbert Smith Freehills – delivered to law students in Asia.
Each collaboration brings a unique approach, focusing on key areas such as access to justice, business law, professional ethics, client-centered legal practice, all delivered through CLE interactive teaching methods and grounded in core legal ethics.
Through interactive teaching methods, these workshops provided students with practical lawyering skills while engaging practitioners in pro bono legal education.
