Prof. Le Vu Nam,

Dean of Law Faculty in University of Economics and Law (UEL), Vietnam

 

National University Ho Chi Minh City, Lawyer of Bar Association in Ho Chi Minh City.  Prof. Nam defenced his Doctorate thesis in 1998. He was Head of Research and market development of the

Department of Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, from 2000 to 2006. From 2006, he has been working as a law lecturer in UEL, his research major is securities law, banking law, clinical legal education and legal ethics.  Prof. Nam has been so excited about the clinical legal education activities, always cares, encourages and supports the CLE team in UEL to work. His achievements have been assessed well by various communities, society. He usually leads, supervises works that follows the agreements between UEL and other partners in CLE activities to guarantee to achieve the best goals. Prof. Nam always believes that if we really want to develop CLE movement, we need to cooperate steadily with law education institutions, international organizations as UNDP, BABSEA CLE, Hebert Smith Freehills, USaid, bar associations, governmental bodies to get the common targets which are helping communities, social justice. Prof. Nam is a member of the network of law universities which are running CLE in Vietnam.
